BREAKING: Uhuru’s ‘propaganda’ newspaper the ‘People Daily’ BURNT in Maragoli

BREAKING: Uhuru’s ‘propaganda’ newspaper the ‘People Daily’ BURNT in Maragoli

September 11, 2014

Free newspaper ‘People Daily’ which is associated with President Uhuru Kenyatta was today burnt in Mbale, Maragoli after a Nation Media Group van distributing newspapers to western Kenya dropped the ‘queer’ copies of the paper in Mbale.

People Daily is associated with Jubilee government propaganda, and, or policy. It is still not clear what prompted residents to burn the copies but a source has told this author that Western Kenya residents are suspicious of the intentions of the ‘free newspaper’.

“Here people are convinced this newspaper is only meant to tell us what Central Kenya thinks about us. We don’t want to know what they think so it should be returned. We are better off without a confrontation like what happened to our shemejis in Migori,” said the source.

A journalist at  Nation Center  has confirmed that there is an arrangement between the two media firms where Nation will use its distribution network around the country to freely offload People Daily propaganda to regions outside Nairobi. But with the country getting more ‘media divided’, ugly scenes like those witnessed in Migori and now Maragoli are expected to rise.

One only hopes the country shall remain one indivisible nation.
