UDF MP Benjamin Washiali is under investigations after yesterday’s protestors rally turned chaotic with accusations that those who were paid hijacked the peaceful demo to save the struggling sugar-cane factory and turned it into an anti-kidero rally.

Washiali is sadi to have met Nairobi senator Mike Sonko who is believed to be the source of the scandalous money early in the week.

Washiali, who is a UDF MP, was engaged in a scuffle with a section of demonstrators who turned against the rally, accusing the MP for hijacking the noble event and turning it into a political supremacist battle pitting ODM and UDF.

ODM national youth leader and an MCA in Kakamega county were arrested during the scuffle.  The MP is reported to have withdrawn money running into millions which law enforcement believe was used to pay the demonstrators.
