Breaking: KANU SG Hon Nick Salat DROPS SENATE BID, to Contest Bomet East Parliamentary Seat

Breaking: KANU SG Hon Nick Salat DROPS SENATE BID, to Contest Bomet East Parliamentary Seat

Breaking news:KANU SG dropped his Senate bid to Contest Bomet East Parliamentary Seat. Seems like the move to back Uhuru and Jubilee is the main reason while Salat will restrict his campains to his home area and not the entire county.

Although Hon Salat is a close ally of Governor Ruto, the CCM party has already nominated Dr Koskei Stephen for senate race complicating matters for the KANU strongman.

In Bomet, CCM seem to be the party to watch as locals have now owned up the party. The residents have previously petition president Uhuru to go to Bomet and seek votes for himself and not use proxies or brokers.
