Dubai government sent a senior official, Sheikh Khalid, to escort NRM General Miguna Miguna for medical tests and treatment after complaints of assault, torture and alleged chemical poisoning by Jubilee Government.
Unknown to Miguna, That marked the beginning of his Dubai Exit where he had been from Wednesday 28th March 2018.
Miguna praised Sheikh for professionalism and humanity without knowing his intentions.
United Arab Emirates Government sent Sheikh to lure Miguna to the hospital for toxicology and medical tests to confirm if he was fit to travel to Canada.
Miguna underwent the tests as he had demanded from the UAE government, was found to be as fit as fiddle by the doctor.
He was then escorted back to his hotel room where he found Dubai security officials already occupying.
Sheikh Khalid had convinced him that nothing would happen, he was assured that he would be brought back to the hotel until an agreement with the Kenyan government for his travel back as he had insisted.
Miguna was shocked to find Security officials in his room, He knew that was the end of him in Dubai. The security officials had earlier tried to access his room but he raised an alarm through a facebook post making them to retreat.
Miguna was then threatened to produce his travel documents or face Jail, that the UAE Government was tired of his drama tarnishing the image of the country.
United Arab Emirates is a federation of absolute monarchy under Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is the vice President and Prime Minister.
Miguna initially refused to comply as in JKIA until he found the officials were serious and the implications dire.
He then surrendered his Canadian Passport ( Which he claimed was lost while in Nairobi) to the authorities for stamping to facilitate his exit to Canada.
The NRM General left Dubai International Airport aboard an Air Canada Flight number AC 057 for Toronto, Canada at around 12:30 a.m.
That marked the end of Miguna Miguna’s stay in Dubai after forceful deportation from JKIA on Wednesday March 28th 2018.
