Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has been arrested following an order by the Director of Public Prosecution that he be charged for incitement to violence and ethnic hatred.
Kuria is currently at the Kilimani police station to record statements over panga remarks made in July.
He had been released on a Sh5 million cash bail and was expected at the Milimani Law courts on Tuesday but did not appear.
On Monday, DPP Keriako Tobiko agreed with NCIC that Kuria had a case to answer and directed the MP’s prosecution begin immediately.

Justice, Inspector General of Police and the DPP seeking action to be taken against the MP.
