There is drama happening now at Migori stadium as Hon Junet Mohammed and local ODM officails are putting up final touches for tomorrow’s event that will be presided by deputy party leader Hassan Ali Joho and Governor Oparanya.

County governor Okoth Obado has allegedly received orders from above to try everything in his power to stop the event or frustrate it, he is acting closely with county police commander to execute the order from top Jubilee operative.

Ealier there was heavy police presence at the stadium who blocked ODM officials from setting up the VIP dais and public address system (main stage for the event), they however allowed the erection of the stage after axchange of harsh wordss but have since returned (now its slightly past mid-night) and demanded the tent and stage be brought down.

Tension is building up as local youth are inching closer to losing patience and will most likely confront police a situation that may turn ugly or at worse tragic.

Governor Obado is a known DP Ruto ally since his days as Kenya Sugar board boss while the DP was minister for Agriculture. In 2014 governor Obado hosted President Uhurubut the rally turned chaotic as locals pelted the VIP tent with shoes. Obado later hired buses and ferried hundrends of Migori residents to go to Statehouse to apologize BUT was disappointed as angry Uhuru refused to meet the delegation, he later abandoned the delegation in Nairobi causing an embarrassing scenes for Luos in the City.

In this ensueing drama a section locals especially those allied with Hon John Pesa have also joined Obado to frustrate the meeting with fear that Joho may endorse Hon Junet Mohammed.
