BLOGGER Abraham Mutai who EXPOSED corruption in Uhuru government ARRESTED in Mombasa and Airlifted to Nairobi

BLOGGER Abraham Mutai who EXPOSED corruption in Uhuru government ARRESTED in Mombasa and Airlifted to Nairobi

January 17, 2015

Blogger Kiplangat Abraham Mutai has been arrested by police in Mombasa in what is suspected to be his alleged expoze on corruption in one leading county government touching on some ‘big people’.

Mutai is one of the finest BLOGGERS especially on twitter, he rarely engages in pettiness and is always for a just society and an anti corruption crusader.

Abraham Mutai revealed the rot and corruption at Geothermal Development Corportation ‪#‎GDC‬ and the ‪#‎IVORYPOACHERS‬ in the jubilee Administration the latest was corruption in ‪#‎ISIOLOEXPOSED‬. Mutai’s blog and all social media handles have been brought down by alleged dark forces who have also used the super connection in government to have him arrested.

To many top bloggers the arrest was imminent owing to his steadfastness in the fight against corruption that often goes unreported by mainstream media.

Mutai has made it a habit to expose corruption just like other leading bloggers like Dikembe Disembe and Robert Alai.

Mutai who is based in Mombasa was arrested and airlifted to Nairobi, it was expected that he will be booked in Muthaiga police station. He will most likely be taken to Kiambu or Milimani law courts on Monday.

His arrest is as dramatic as that of Allan Wadi and one hopes that he wont be tortured and blackmailed like Wadi.

Blogging in Kenya is becoming worse than journalism. With Kiplangat Abraham Mutai arrested, wadi in jail, Alai and Dikembe in courts, hundreds of others with threats of lawsuits hanging on them, the terrain has been fundamentally changed becoming more than dangerous.
