Prime Minister Raila Odinga was today morning given a hero’s welcome by Baringo county residents. The Hon Hon Odinga is on a fact finding mission on the escalation if insecurity in the area.

He is expected to hold barazas at the following areas; Mochongoi Kabel, Kiserian and Marigat

Raila will also condole with the families of those who have been killed maimed or displaced by the recent wave of violent attacks which have been associated with cattle rustling. So far no concrete action has been forthcoming from the government regarding the attacks be it the arrest of the perpetrators or delivery humanitarian assistance to the affected communities. Several police officers have been killed in the area.

It is not clear if Odinga will respond to William Ruto’s rant on The raging Moi Referral Hospital scandal that seem to have engulfed him (Deputy President William Ruto). Jubilee operative and a close friend to the extended Kenyatta family Mr Herbert Ojwang made astonishing revelation that DP Ruto was complicit in alleged deal involving Chines company and The Eldoret based hospital.
