Alfred Keter backs Raila over Military rigging claims

Alfred Keter backs Raila over Military rigging claims

February 3, 2014

Outspoken Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has also lashed at the Kenya’s Defense Forces as so tribalised that it cannot be trusted to remain neutral in any political contest among civilians.

Keter, who at the same meeting in O’lessos in Kesses Constituency yesterday told Uhuru to back Ruto in 2017 because Kenyans cannot vote the Jubilee Alliance in three consecutive elections said the government (read TNA side) is busy converting KDF into a tribal army.

“How will Honourable Ruto and URP ascend to power when the armed forces is systematically being converted into a tribal force?,” he asked.

Keter said the recruitment exercise is so skewed and tailored to favour one region of the country where they were given more opportunities than the rest of the country. Keter claimed that some areas were being allocated 10 times more places than others.

He claimed just as with the Railway tender, he will soon unleash the worst abuse of the country external defences by one region who have ensured thousands of patriotic Kenyans lose out serving the country in the military and the police force.

Prime Minister Raila Odinga had recently in Kisumu lamented that the army was used to rig the last general elections.
