The lawyers of a Kisii civic leader charged for allegedly calling President Uhuru a bhang smoker have hinted they may demand a medical examination of the president to prove their client’s case.
Mr Onkwami Aboko, a member of the Kisii County Assembly, is charged with undermining the authority of a state officer, herein the president of the Republic of Kenya.
The case will be a landmark judicial epic, happening under a new constitutional order, and, Â owing to the current freedom Kenyans enjoy especially with regard to how they openly talk about their leaders.
Uhuru’s favourite pastime has been known, albeit unconfirmed, to be marijuana and whisky.
Aboko is being represented by lawyers Gideon Nyambati and Isaiah Mosota.
