Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba has once again fired a thinly veiled salvo at the Orange Party.
The MP who flew out of the country to private-cum-political engagements in Europe has indicated his trip is part of  a number of initiates he is making to activate his political networks.
According to a local paper, when asked why he is activating the ties, the Budalangi MP retorted , “May be am breaking away from some political shadows and cutting my own niche.â€
Ababu was conspicuously absent when senior CORD leaders met US Secretary of State John Kerry. He also failed to show up at the launch of Okoa Kenya Bill at Bomas a week ago.
“I am scheduled to meet Iceland President, Ólafur Ragnar GrÃmsson and the Mayor of the capital city, Reykjavik, Mr Dagur B. Eggertsson,†Namwamba told The Standard.
Recently, the Budalangi MP was stripped of his chairmanship of the critical Public Accounts Committee of parliament after allegations of corruption and taking kickbacks surfaced. Namwamba has vehemently denied he took bribes.
