A Kenyan youthful adult is being held in a underground military cell in Juba, South Sudan for several days now without charge. What is schocking is that the Kenyan embassy in Juba was informed and instead of helping send word out that there was no Kenyan held in a cell.
The victim has not been taken court, a source at the cell tells this writer that the victim is now on hunger strike and since refused talk and now staring at eminent death.
The military did not disclose why he is held, Kenyans in Juba tried to seek his release but the military were not cooperative the victim has also lost hope and he is talking any-more. The military told the a Kenya who went to inquire the status that ”he has refused to eat, to talk and also refused to die” a military officer was quoted.
Having hit the dead-end the Kenyans sought help of the embassy but the officials were not cooperatives and immediately dismissed the reports.
We have a case of a Kenyan being held by military for undisclosed charges yet the embassy is not doing anything, a frustrated Kenyan told this writer. The poor man is held in the notorious detention facility located at the Jebel Kujur hills on the outskirts of Juba town.
It is widely known that once you enter Blue House, you might disappear without a trace!
Kenya Diaspora in Juba is now requesting CS Amina Mohammed to intervene and save the life of the Kenyan before it is too late.
