Controversial blogger cyprian nyakundi has on monday afternoon been arrested at the westgate mall together with one of his colleague and taken to Gigiri police station over claims of extortion.DCI Detectives from Gigiri police station have arrested the blogger with a sum of Ksh 1Million in cash.
According to the detectives The two had just received the Ksh. 1 Million from one of their victims being a down payment of Ksh 17.5 million they had earlier demanded as a precondition for pulling down libellous posts appearing on a website allegedly owned by the suspects.
The two will be arraigned on tuesday
@DCI_Kenya Detectives based at Gigiri have today afternoon arrested two suspects namely Cyprian Andama Nyakundi and Emmanuel Nyamweya Ong'era after successful investigations touching on extortion, blackmail and false accusations.
