Hilarious: The short stories on social media that keeps us laughing while on lock down

I am idle. I feel like telling you a story, but I don’t know if I have ever told you this story. I have a feeling I have. Pardon me, if I have.

It is about a cousin of mine who came to stay with his distant uncle in Nairobi. The distant uncle is one of those benevolent men, the last of a dying breed who took everyone in. Now, there was this girl, also staying there. You know the kisirani type. The one, you gossip in her absence and discuss how she is a mtiaji. Of the several young folks who stayed there, all loosely related, everyone revered her.

She especially hated my distant cousin. You know how relatives of the wife always feel more entitled? Technically, she was not related to my cousin and if you drew the web will be too tangled.

Anyway, my cousin is a nyang’au. He succeeded in seducing her and they became an item. But they had to maintain their charade. Her insults got worse, and she quarreled him every day and everyone in that household used to sympathize with him.

I always think of this story and how adults are good actors. I have been in a room where a woman has slept with two men in that room, and the level of acting and civility is Oscar-winning stuff.
Adults sometimes are good pretenders. Actually, there guys here on Facebook, who are technically married to each other, but you will never see them comment on each other’s post or liking. They are not even friends

Meanwhile
Paul Letish adds: 😃😂😃 marriage and relationships are a scam, a global fraud. In 2019 BC (Before Corona) I spent two nights at some luxurious hotel in Masai Mara. I met my friend’s wife with her ex. (I know the ex)….okay to cut the story short the husband strongly believed his wife was at the coast for “team building”. Kitu inaniuma Ni 5k nilitoa ya wedding. How do I get my money back

Chris Simpe: That is very small bwaña, I know a guy who is beating his uncle’s wife water as we speak now. The guy and aunt conduct in presence of the uncle can be likened to a relationship of a dog and sheep ( directly translated from luhya)

Rio Gi: Reminds me years ago, a new femme fatale staff joined where I used to work, we hit it off, technically living together, but back in the office, not even a fly suspected anything. We were the usual guys who never used to see each other. We were even summoned by the HR to try to reconcile us. But jioni ikifika, twa twa twa and laughing our asses off at the fools who thought we hated each other
