Tigania East ODM MP Mpuru Aburi had a rough day yesterday when he was rounded up, nearly clobbered, balls squeezed and chased out of Maua town for betraying Raila Odinga.
Bystanders on the ground report that Apuri was in town running some errands when ardent ODM diehards sighted him and decided to take it out on him for betraying their party leader.
Supporters demanded an explanation from him as to why he joined Jubilee under unclear circumstances even after being the long-time Raila’s right-hand man in Meru region.
The MP had to flee for immediately after realizing that the young men were getting angrier. Nation Media Group journalists were on the ground and it is still unclear as to why they haven’t aired the news.
It is however reported that Mpuru’s PA took them to a Hotel for a cup of coffee allegedly to compromise them.
